Terminals are clearly the most complementary asset investment for our physical trading activities. They provide ready access to physical fuel flows from diverse bulk sources which enhances our trading opportunities, while the availability of storage and vessel berthing create time spread and cross-geography arbitrage opportunities. Blending and segregated storage enable us to add further value through the provision of export grade specifications.
With several terminal investments planned and development projects worldwide, we will deliver trading solutions that safely and reliably optimize commercial opportunities for our customers.
Our current terminal has a capacity of over 10,000,000 bbls, with 13,000,000 projected in 2023 and more than 75 million barrels projected for construction over the next 5 years, and up to 200 million barrels in the next 10 years, which will become the largest ocean trans-shipment terminal in the world. Operations shall commence with gasoline & fuel oil trans-shipments in 2022.
The terminal operations are projected to produce a material stable earnings stream and significantly enhance our logistics capabilities for the transportation of refined petroleum products exported from the central Caribbean region to customers in the Caribbean & North, Central and South America. It is being further developed to provide additional flexibility for trans-shipping a range of biofuel products.
